Interlaken, switzerland

PWe decided last minute to book a flight to zurich as it was faster and cheaper...and then we went to the wrong airport and had to rebook the flight which was not faster or cheaper in the end. We made it to zurich successfully and then purchased train tickets for which we missed the first few trains due to never turning our watches forward an hour. So finally made it onto the train and later than expected made it to interlaken. It was dark when we arrived and so we didn't get pictures until today. We slept in...kind of, and then explored the town.
One of our favorite towns so far, gorgeous and completely surrounded by mountains. We might attempt to hang glide over the next few days and take a trip in a lift to the top of one of the mountains. There are travel companies everywhere promoting all sorts of adventure options.
Breakfast in our hotel consisted of meats, cheeses, yogurt and breads.
Some more snow capped mountains that were visible later in the morning after the rain and fog left.
This grass spot in the middle of town is where a group of hang gliders land throughout the day. They say its an hour drive to the top of the mountain and then it take 15 minutes to come down.
